Wavey Ice is the UK's original alcoholic ice pop brand, founded in London in 2014. It all began in a home kitchen as a fun idea to make childhood treats more adult-friendly. However, this nostalgic brand quickly exploded, with its ice pops now sold online and in retailers across the UK, and it has also teamed up with some of the industry's coolest brands and major events.


Debs Bourke, Social Media Manager at Wavey Ice, leads the brand's social strategy and execution. She oversees content, campaigns, influencer activity, community management, and reporting, ensuring social supports product launches, partnerships, and continued growth across channels.

What problems were they trying to solve?

As Wavey Ice experienced rapid sales growth and expanded its team, reporting challenges became more apparent.

Complicated traditional spreadsheets

Before adopting modern software, everything from orders to ad performance was tracked in Google Sheets. Reporting and planning became time-consuming, with over 5 hours a week spent pulling data together.

Time consuming social media management

Social media is central to Wavey Ice's marketing across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Weekly analysis was essential, but poor usability and limited visibility meant the team had to constantly switch between platforms to track performance.

Simple sales dashboards

WooCommerce still handles Wavey Ice’s sales and transactions, but its reporting capabilities were limited.


Hurree made tracking key metrics like “net sales, total orders, cancelled orders, and total refund value” simple, giving the team “instant visibility” without having to dig through WooCommerce daily.

Regular Snapshot updates

A key challenge for Wavey Ice was sharing reports and key metrics across teams in the UK and with external stakeholders. Hurree solved this with both static and live Dashboards. Team members can now quickly share Dashboard Snapshots, keeping information consistent and up to date.

When Wavey Ice started their Hurree free trial, they were searching for a simple reporting tool for their marketing department. However, 3 months on, they have expanded Hurree into all areas of their business, using it to manage sales, marketing, production, and even for presentations.
